Brian Terrell
MANAGING PARTNER
Brian Terrell started BTerrell Group in 1991 and oversees management and strategy for this Dallas based provider of Sage Intacct financial management software, which is the only accounting application ever named by the AICPA as their Preferred Provider of Financial Applications. BTerrell provides consistent and committed support through a team of certified accounting technology professionals to automate and streamline complex business processes using Sage Intacct’s mission critical functionality. As a result, BTerrell subscribers enjoy the transformations made possible by fully informed financial decisions.
Born in Plainview, Texas, Brian grew up on a family farm where he learned to create value through teamwork and the achievement of desired outcomes. From there, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University before starting a career with Arthur Andersen & Co. In February 1991, Brian and his wife Nancy began practicing public accounting with Terrell & Terrell, CPAs. Within a year, the firm refocused all professional services exclusively on business software automation and eventually rebranded as BTerrell Group in 2008.
Brian loves to ride a road bike and leads group rides for the Plano Bicycle Association. He and his wife Nancy live in Dallas.

Shirley Lock
CUSTOMER SUCCESS MANAGER & CONSULTANT
Shirley Lock is an accomplished professional in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions with extensive experience in accounting systems. As the Customer Success Manager & Consultant at BTerrell Group, she leads the team in delivering top-tier ERP solutions to clients.
Shirley specializes in SaaS, accounting software, and Sage Intacct ERP systems. She has a proven track record in providing valuable business solutions, managing client accounts, and guiding organizations through technological transformations. Her focus on enhancing customer experience, providing exceptional support, and effectively managing accounts ensures clients achieve their goals.
Shirley holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas and continuously updates her knowledge with industry advancements. She also earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Food Science and Technology from Iowa State University.
Outside of work, Shirley enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring new culinary experiences. Her dedication to both her professional and personal life exemplifies her well-rounded approach to success.
Joe Fowler
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
With over 40 years of experience in Accounting, Business Management, and Technology, Joe serves formally as the Chief Operating Officer but is more like a coach, teacher and mentor. As a former CFO and CIO, he brings big company experience to our company. He guides the strategic and financial direction of the Company while running the day-to-day operations.
He spends the majority of his time helping set priorities, following up on project performance, performing risk management and defining improvement initiatives. He is constantly looking to improve processes and training for our people.
He has helped assemble a team that is allowed to work and grow in a risk-free environment. Mistakes are accepted as part of the journey to learning and improvement.
Joe's teaching approach allows our team to take risks and identify innovative and best in class solutions for our customers.
Joe loves to travel with his wife Liza to Seattle to visit his daughters, Hannah and Eva. He loves to read, go to the beach and play with his 5 dogs.
Chris Firra
SOLUTION ARCHITECT
Chris Firra joined BTerrell Group in 1998 and since that time, he has served in several roles, including solution consultant, professional services manager, sales engineer and solution architect. Prior to joining BTerrell Group, Chris served as controller and financial analyst in healthcare and retail organizations. He also maintained a small business accounting, tax and consulting practice, where he fell in love with implementing and supporting software to solve business problems and to add value to
organizations.
Chris still immensely enjoys learning about new ways to solve business challenges and keeping up with the ever-changing topics of business finance. Most of all, he strives to help customers and co-workers achieve their goals using the knowledge he accumulated during his 40+year career.
Chris earned a B.B.A in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington and an M.B.A from Texas A&M University-Commerce. He and his wife, Pam, live in Rockwall County where he enjoys woodworking and gardening.

sized businesses (SMBs) navigate complex financial landscapes. With a proven track record of success, Binbin has helped with over 100 clients across various industries
including construction, healthcare, hospitality, and financial services.
Binbin excels at building high-performing teams committed to delivering exceptional client service. The compassionate and reliable approach has fostered long-term partnerships and driven business growth.
Binbin earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and a Master’s degree in Accounting from University of Texas at
Dallas.
Outside of work, Binin enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and caring for her pets.
