What you may be wondering about SmartCare.
Does the SmartCare subscription cover all the Sage licenses we need?
For organic clients, SmartCare includes the initial Sage license cost. If more or less are determined to be required, it will cover those as well but the price will incur a slight adjustment up or down. For direct clients, it does not cover the license cost, but it does cover all of the licenses subscribed to directly from Sage
What if we need to add additional Sage products?
No problem...instantly covered upon addition to the subscription but subject to an immediate price adjustment.
Are there any additional charges we should expect based on the complexity of our systems or size of our migration?
We designed SmartCare to cover everything required to be successful with Sage Intacct. Sometimes, an integration may become necessary or some sort of software coding using the API, and we treat this like an additional license. We cover it subject to a budgetable price adjustment.
How many custom reports are included in our SmartCare subscription?
The limit on tailored reports is based on our capacity at any given time and not a number. If someone wants 10 reports by Friday, that usually exceeds are capacity between now and Friday. However, we will complete those reports over a reasonable period of time. We do stress the word "reasonable' around the fulfillment of tailored report requests.
What kind of user training is provided under the SmartCare subscription and is it limited in any way?
Once again, the real limit is our capacity and our expertise. Generally, one can count on us being expert in all things Sage Intacct; however, we do have capacity constraints. Subject to capacity at any given time, Members can expect training to be covered and delivered in a way that aligns with the company's preferences. Often, that delivery method is one on one, but we can train a group of professionals, as well.
Is there a limit to the amount of technical support we can receive?
The limit is based on capacity and our ability to provide services under the AICPA's principle of due care. We can only provide services with due care if we are expert in those services. This shouldn't be considered murky but rather a more principled way of reminding others we cannot provide audit or tax services, for example.
How do you handle the pricing for customizations and integrations?
We discover the requirements and propose an adjustment to the SmartCare price to cover the outcome on both an initial an ongoing, fully-supported basis.
What do we get with the Premium offering and when would it make sense to consider it?
BTerrell hasn't thought this through, yet. An initial thought includes providing temporary CFO level financial and accounting leadershipo until a more permanent solution can be found.
Does your solution handle payroll?
We support payroll as Sage Intacct Marketplace Partner provided software solution. This means that the Sage Intacct Marketplace Partner supports their software and we collaborate with our Member and that Partner to assist the Member in realizing the outcome they seek.
Do you integrate with Procore and Salesforce?
Both software publishers integrate with Sage Intacct. Procore integrates as a Sage Intacct Marketplace Partner and Salesforce as either a Sage Intacct Marketplace Partner of as a Sage Intacct module. In Salesforce case, the integration covered as a Sage Intacct module focuses very specifically on the quote to order workflow, and any integration outside of that highly focused use case is supported like other Sage Intacct Marketplace Partners, which means SmartCare Members can expect BTerrell to collaborate with them in their dealings with the Sage Intacct Marketplace Partner.
